Orange County Animal Care will celebrate Spay Day USA with an adoption freebie Saturday.
Adopt a cat or a dog and the spay/neuter procedure is free.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the facility. There are more than 75 dogs that need homes, about 50 cats and a couple dozens rabbits, too.
The shelter is located at 561 The City Drive, Orange. Hours of operation:
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.
- Open until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
- Closed on major holidays.
